Razor sharp out of the box. Polished it works great have 2nd blade so when other gets dull.
Vise came as was described. Was well built and has done exactly what I needed it to do!
I have 4 different plane irons from Lake Erie Toolworks and they are fantastic. Every time I get a new favorite antique plane that I realize I will be using a lot, I will try to find a MagnaCut plane iron. It just bring the modern performance to an 100+ year old tool immediately. High recommend.
